Randy began his career with the NWKP&DC and PCDI, as the Business Finance Officer in 1988. In 1994, he was promoted to the Executive Director position for both entities and in 1998, Randy oversaw the formation of N.W. Kansas Housing, Inc. and since then, NWKHI has constructed 130 affordable single family homes and/or duplexes in the Region.
NWKHI was the first organization in Kansas to utilize Tax Increment Financing for a Housing Project.
For the last 9 years, Randy has also served as the President of the Kansas Association of Certified Development Companies and currently serves as Vice President of the Kansas Association of Regional Development organizations and serves on the Board of the National Association of Development Organizations.
Corina has been with NWKP&DC since 1993. She mainly works with Cities/Counties on CDBG projects; application preparation and if funded, the administration of those projects. For the past several years she has assisted NWKHI with accepting and processing applications for rental units and ongoing State compliance paperwork concerning the NWKHI properties.
She also assists with the Section 8/TBRA program, conducting housing inspections. Corina can help with D. G. Hansen and other foundation grant applications, and with completion of required environmental reviews (CDBG/KDHE/USDA, RLF, ML, etc.).
Ruth has been the Fiscal Officer the NWKP&DC and PCDI since 2012, after having served as Administrative Assistant since 2007. Prior to coming to the Planning Commission, She worked at The First State Bank in Hill City and the Citizens State bank in Morland. Ruth brings all of this experience to her position as Fiscal Officer and she says that she "totally enjoys her work."
Andrea has been with the NWKP&DC since 2013, She serves as Administrative Assistant to not only the Planning Commission, but also Pioneer Country Development, N.W. Ks. Housing and the N.W. Kansas Travel Council.
Her 30+ years experience in the customer service business, in cable TV and NEXTECH Customer service assists the office staff and Region very well.
Chris started part time at Ellis Co. Housing, Inc. in 2015. Then in 2019, when the opportunity presented itself, she moved to full time and that transitioned into directing the program. She says that she enjoys the position, because it gives her great satisfaction to help families and she has made a lot of new friends that she may have never met.
Autumn started in May of 2020, as a part-time intern for Chris Noltimier, - NWKHI. She works mainly with the rental assistance program and assists elsewhere in the organization. Autumn is also a full-time student at Fort Hays State University.
